Sweet Scents for your Wedding

In our packet that we give to every Bride and Groom we ask “What do you smell on your wedding day?” Often times a Bride will scratch her head trying to figure out, what does that mean exactly. But truly think about this idea… we walk thru our days and sometimes we get a smell in the air that is rancid and other times we get a smell that will put a smile on our face. Think about walking into Bath and Body Works… every time you get this fresh smell of fragrance… it makes it easy and fun to shop when it smells good. Think about walking into a casino… it smells like smoke and makes your face squirm.

Your wedding should not only be a visual eye catching day, but it should also be a day that smells of delight. There are many things that accomplish these smells – food is one of them. Picking a fabulous wedding menu with aromas that will make you feel excited to eat. Think about sweets – what if you walked in the wedding room and it smelled like Grandma’s chocolate chip cookies from your dessert buffet. How yummy!

Another way to capture scents is by using a fragrance that you feel confident in. Tell your Groom to wear cologne that makes him feel like a strong man!!

One of my most favorite ways to capture glorious wedding smells is through flowers… here are some ideas for delightful smelling flowers that you can either hold or put on your reception tables.
