Blush is such the fab color – especially for weddings the last 6 months and on!! Blush is romantic, soft, and just enough pink to make you happy and your Groom not feel like he is walking into a bachelorette party on his big day.
Blush is showing up in decor, flowers, lighting, and now wedding dresses. Check out some of my favorite beautiful blush wedding dresses and gowns for 2012 weddings.
Monique Lhuillier
In her Spring 2012 collection, she introduced color and we absolutely love it, but you won’t see any color except gorgeous whites in her Fall collection. However, Monique Lhuillier really knows how to use the blush tones and create some magnificent wedding dresses. Here are the ones that make us swoon.
This dress is called Candy and it is absolutely fabulous!!
This dress is called the Waltz, and perfect for the name would be a waltz shared as the first dance between Bride & Groom, could you not see this dress flowing across the dance floor?
The drop waist gives a gorgeous illusion, accompanied by the tulle skirting. This Monique Lhuillier gown is called “Amber”.
Vera Wang
Vera Wang, one of the most sought after wedding dress designers, also dabbled with a little blush color for her Spring 2012 collection, as well as played with similar corset drop waisted gowns and flowing fabrics.
This beauty she named “Holly”. A close-up would reveal a structured corset drop waist with a stunning petaled skirt. There is a lot of detailing in this dress which makes it even more special for a Bride.
This gown is called “Farrah”, and it actually was introduced in Vera Wang’s Spring 2011 collection. The early introduction goes to show you her forethought of the trending blush color and gorgeous tulle flowing fabrics.
This blush floral Vera Wang is found in her new David’s Bridal 2012 White collection. It’s floral print is romantic and sweet and it’s swagged skirt makes a beautiful look while dancing the night away.
Other Designers that Love Blush!
Christos bridal petal pressed organza blush gown.
Marchesa’s detailing is absolutely to die for. The dress looks almost cozy to wear, not to mention, the detailing in the bodice is so glamourous.
One of my favorite gowns, it’s called “Gabrielle” by Watters Bridal. Embroidered and beaded with mousseline flowers on the bodice this silky blush dress is a show stopper.
