Great Gifts on the Go

Have you ever been invited to an event or party last minute and need to grab a gift to give to the host. I know I have personally been there, and it can be difficult when the person you are shopping for is either picky or already has everything. These are some cost effective options that everyone can use and will appreciate. I recommend having a area in  your house where you keep a small storage of these great host gifts.

Cake Jar: These are a cute way to give someone a simple, tasty treat. Use a vintage jar and put the cake powder inside. Its that easy, not to mention looks 100 times better than giving them cake batter in a box. Attach a simple recipe with ribbon and you can even add some chocolate chips or nuts if they would go with the kind of cake.

Candle: Everyone loves something that smells good and candles are easy to store so that you can always have one ready.

Wine: Wine or champagne are always a good choice; pick a bottle with a pretty label and wrap in a fabric wine bag. Include a wine opener to make it a little more unique.

Picture Frames: Can either be sentimental if you include a picture or just a nice touch to add to any home. Now an updated version would be to try the digital picture frames.

Vase: With or without flowers, vases are a useful gift that can be used for many functions. You can also fill the vase with sweet treats, or pick up a bouquet of flowers and bring the vase and bouquet a la carte.
